Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active OT license in Washington State
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs
  • Commitment to fostering student independence and participation

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain timely and detailed documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and accommodations
  • Educate staff and families on support strategies and adaptive equipment as needed
