Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Experience working with students in a school setting, preferably at the middle school level
- Strong understanding of special education procedures and laws
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive educational evaluations
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to interpret data and generate insightful reports
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 140 students
- Conduct initial and re-evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administration to gather relevant information
- Analyze assessment data and prepare clear, concise reports
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Provide consultative support to teachers and staff regarding student needs and strategies
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with district and legal standards
