Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience working with students in a school setting, preferably at the middle school level
• Strong understanding of special education procedures and laws
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive educational evaluations
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to interpret data and generate insightful reports

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 140 students
• Conduct initial and re-evaluations for students referred for special education services
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and administration to gather relevant information
• Analyze assessment data and prepare clear, concise reports
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Provide consultative support to teachers and staff regarding student needs and strategies
• Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with district and legal standards
