Multiple contract opportunities are available for Special Education professionals who thrive in collaborative and resource-rich settings.
Beginning September 8, 2026, and continuing through June 10, 2027, these full-time roles (37.5 hours/week) offer opportunities to work within specialized center-based and resource rooms, serving diverse caseloads. Your experience with Center Based ASD/DCD programs or SEL-focused classrooms will be valued, as will your ability to foster academic, behavioral, and emotional growth in your students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Special Education license required (ASD, DCD, EBD, or ABS endorsement)
- Minimum of 2 years of direct Special Education teaching experience (excluding paraprofessional, aide, or substitute experience)
- Ability to adapt and collaborate across various elementary sites
- Commitment to inclusive practices, student advocacy, and IEP development
- Effective communication skills and a positive, solution-focused approach
Responsibilities:
- Case manage and provide specialized instruction according to student IEPs
- Design and implement individualized and group interventions for assigned caseload
- Work closely with general educators, families, and other support staff
- Collect and maintain data, document progress, and participate in team meetings
- Foster a supportive, engaging environment that maximizes student potential
