Production Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Location: Dallas, TX 75238
Pay: $25.00 $26.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday Friday | 5:00 AM 3:00 PM
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Production Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and production operations. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and equipment reliability.
The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
Repair and maintain pumps, conveyors, motors, compressors, filling equipment, and related production machinery.
Support equipment changeovers, production startups, and line setups.
Assist with PLCs, automation systems, motor controls, and electrical troubleshooting.
Perform facility maintenance including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building repairs.
Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately.
Coordinate repairs and communicate equipment issues with production and maintenance teams.
Follow all safety procedures, GMP requirements, and Lockout/Tagout practices.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
12 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Basic computer and communication skills.
Experience with PLCs, automation systems, or industrial controls.
MIG or TIG welding experience.
Experience with CMMS systems.
Forklift or scissor lift experience.
Knowledge of high-speed manufacturing or packaging equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and work in manufacturing environments for extended periods.
Ability to wear required PPE and safely work around production equipment.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
