Real Estate Paralegal
Job Description
We've partnered with a well-established boutique real estate law firm in Charlotte that is actively seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing real estate transactions from contract through closing while working closely with attorneys, lenders, title companies, and clients in a collaborative environment. The firm handles both residential and commercial real estate matters and is also investing in modern technology and AI-powered tools to improve workflow efficiency and client service.
Responsibilities
Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing.
Prepare, review, and organize deeds, settlement statements, title documents, closing packages, and related legal documents.
Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, title companies, and attorneys throughout each transaction.
Review title commitments and assist in resolving title issues.
Prepare closing documentation and ensure all required documents are complete and accurate.
Assist with escrow disbursements and post-closing activities.
Maintain organized electronic and physical client files.
Utilize legal technology and workflow tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Deliver exceptional client service throughout the closing process.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Real Estate Paralegal experience.
Experience handling residential real estate closings is required.
Commercial real estate closing experience is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of real estate closing procedures and transaction documentation.
Experience coordinating multiple closings simultaneously.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience with SoftPro Select is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC.
