Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from a NASP-approved program
- Authorized School Psychologist credential/licensure for Colorado (or eligibility)
- In-depth knowledge of assessment tools, counseling, and intervention strategies
- Experience with MTSS/RTI and data-driven decision-making strongly preferred
- Effective communicator with students, families, and staff
- Capacity to manage time efficiently and prioritize multiple responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
- Consult with staff and families to address barriers to learning and promote positive behaviors
- Support the development and implementation of prevention and early intervention initiatives
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
