Job Description
Step into a rewarding role where you’ll provide essential psychological services to students from PreK through 12th grade in a contract position scheduled to span from late August through early June 2027. Your expertise will support young learners’ social, emotional, and academic growth, shaping positive outcomes in a dynamic, collaborative school environment.
What You Bring:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license
- Demonstrated experience working across a range of grade levels (PreK-12th)
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and development
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administration, and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations
- Develop and assist with implementation of interventions and support plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to assess needs and monitor student progress
- Offer individual and group counseling to help students manage academic and personal challenges
- Serve as a resource for faculty and staff regarding behavioral and emotional issues
- Facilitate communication between home and school to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
