Key Qualifications:

• Valid, active teaching license in Special Education (required)
• Emergency certification not accepted—must hold standard/official licensure
• Prior experience with elementary or secondary special education classrooms preferred
• Strong skills in differentiated instruction, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Ability to foster a supportive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Collaborative mindset for working with general education teachers, support staff, and families

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions based on students' IEPs
• Manage caseloads and maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students’ needs are met
• Adapt curriculum and modify instructional techniques for students in resource, ASD, or TI settings
