Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current SLP licensure for North Carolina or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and providing evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged children
- Develop and manage individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary educational teams
- Offer direct therapy services both one-on-one and in group settings
- Maintain detailed progress notes and reports to track student development
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
