Qualifications:
- Hold a current California Teaching Credential with Deaf and Hard of Hearing authorization
- Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with hearing impairments in both individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and support staff to ensure student success
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding strategies and accommodations for DHH students
- Promote self-advocacy and communication skills to empower students in the classroom and beyond
