Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide teletherapy services within a school setting, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position involves working remotely while serving multiple schools located in Golden Gate City and Immokalee, FL. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering up to 35 hours per week, with days structured around a 7-hour workday.

Key responsibilities include delivering individualized speech therapy sessions, completing IEP documentation accurately and timely, and attending IEP meetings virtually. Evaluations will be conducted on-site, not via teletherapy. This role requires interaction with a diverse student population, addressing a range of speech and language needs from elementary through high school levels.

Qualifications and experience sought:

  • Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist licensure
  • Proven experience in teletherapy, particularly in school-based settings
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
  • Prior successful completion of teletherapy assignments is highly preferred
  • Ability to combine caseloads across different schools effectively
  • Must complete fingerprinting per Florida regulations; clearance through AHCA Clearinghouse is beneficial

Additional details include a need to obtain a JLA badge post-clearance, a process that can take up to 10 business days. The position supports collaboration with an account manager and follows approved contractual terms without onsite presence.

This contract role offers an opportunity to apply telepractice skills within an educational environment, supporting student communication goals virtually while adhering to regulatory compliance requirements.

Candidates with the appropriate licensure and teletherapy experience are encouraged to apply promptly to ensure credentialing and clearance can be processed ahead of the August start date.
