Qualifications:
- Valid California Teaching Credential with Deaf and Hard of Hearing authorization
- Previous experience working in school-based settings is preferred
- Strong communication abilities, including the capacity to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, utilizing appropriate accommodations and modifications
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Advocate for students’ needs within the school setting, ensuring accessible learning environments
