Responsibilities
- Prepare and file employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, E-1, E-2, O-1, and other work visas.
- Prepare PERM labor certification applications and oversee the labor certification recruitment process.
- Draft employment-based immigrant visa petitions, adjustment of status applications, and U.S. citizenship applications.
- Prepare support letters and legal documentation for visa petitions.
- Communicate directly with corporate clients and foreign nationals throughout the immigration process.
- Collect, organize, and review supporting evidence and immigration documentation.
- Conduct case audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain communication with government agencies regarding case status and filings.
- Research immigration procedures, regulations, and filing requirements.
- Track deadlines, approvals, expiration dates, and maintain accurate case information within the firm's immigration management system.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of business immigration experience.
- Experience handling:
- Employment-based nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, E-1/E-2, O-1, and similar classifications)
- PERM labor certifications
- Employment-based immigrant visa petitions
- Adjustment of Status applications
- Consular processing
- U.S. citizenship applications
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience using immigration case management/tracking software.
- Hybrid work environment (3 days in the office / 2 days remote)
