SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Sr. Business Analyst will
\n be responsible for gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements
\n and translating the requirements to the technical team. S/he will also be
\n working with vendors, risk provider groups to integrate between systems through
\n consistent, secure data exchange. S/he will be responsible for retrieving and
\n analyzing data to assist end users with their business decisions. The
\n requirements gathered are reviewed with internal IT team and provided to the
\n development team. S/he will be responsible for development of business test
\n cases and ensuring quality output is delivered.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Working closely with all
  \n levels of end users, including executive level staff, to quickly understand new
  \n requirements or problems, and then suggest a possible solution. Understand
  \n their reporting requirements and put together requirements and support
  \n solutioning discussions for the requirements.
\n
• Working with vendors, risk
  \n provider groups to discuss integration needs and ensuring ultimate business
  \n goals are achieved through right data solutions.
\n
• Gathering and performing
  \n thorough analyses of all the information available.
\n
• Enhancing business processes
  \n when applicable.
\n
• Creating and documenting the
  \n business requirements.
\n
• Communicating with the
  \n development team to schedule development of system configuration or
  \n modifications and/or new modules.
\n
• Developing test cases and
  \n perform testing to ensure requirements are met for data extracts.
\n
• Demonstrate leadership by
  \n coordinating the requirements, specifications, and user acceptance testing
  \n efforts.
\n
• Other duties may be
  \n assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
\n AND REQUIREMENTS:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree required. BA/BS
  \n in Information Technology, or related discipline preferred
\n
• 5+ years of experience working as
  \n Business Analyst or similar positions
\n
• Experience working with health plan
  \n data like medical/pharmacy claims
\n
• Experience working in Medicare with
  \n CMS file standards
\n
• Excellent oral and written
  \n communication skills
\n
• Must be high energy, creative,
  \n results-driven and self-motivated
\n
