RN - PCU

**Title:** Registered Nurse – Telemetry

**Requirements:**
\n - Minimum 2 years RN experience
\n - Licensure: Kansas and Missouri or compact license required at time of submission
\n - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n - Core clinical skills: telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition/management, central line/port care, blood product administration, feeding tube care, stroke care/NIHSS, cardiac cath pre/post care and sheath removal

**Roles & Responsibilities:**
\n - Monitor and analyze patient vital signs and telemetry readings.
\n - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
\n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
\n - Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
\n - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.

**Compliance / Notes:**
\n - Orientation: 12 hours
\n - Flu vaccine: Required with medical/religious exemptions only
\n - Weekend requirement: Minimum 8 weekend shifts every 6 weeks (combination F/S/S)
