Commercial Plumber

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Commercial Plumbers for an immediate start through Central and North Iowa!

NO INTERVIEW NEEDED, TEMP-TO-HIRE OPPORTUNITY, PER DIEM AVAILABLE FOR TRAVELERS!

· PAY: $38-$53/hour (based upon experience)

· PER DIEM: $100/day worked per day worked

· HOURS: 8-hour workdays (40 hours/week)

· SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM

· START DATE: ASAP

· DURATION: Temp-to-Hire

Commercial Plumber Job Description:

Superior Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Commercial Plumbers to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include installing mechanical piping, drainage systems, fixtures, valves, fittings, and associated equipment while ensuring all work complies with the Uniform Plumbing Code and project specifications. Candidates must be able to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and specifications, plan daily tasks, and work independently or with a crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications for Commercial Plumber:

· 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience preferred

· Experience installing PVC, copper, PEX, ProPress, threaded, and grooved piping systems

· Experience installing mechanical piping, equipment, and commercial plumbing systems

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, submittals, and specifications

· Knowledge of the Uniform Plumbing Code and commercial plumbing installation standards

· Journeyman or Master Plumber license is a plus but not required

· Must be able to safely operate hand and power tools while following all PPE requirements

· Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted

· Position requires the use of PPE, including steel-toe work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety vest

· Must have standard plumbing hand tools

Additional Requirements for Commercial Plumber:

· Must be eligible to work in the United States

· Must have reliable transportation to the job site

· Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required
