Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

We’re seeking experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses who thrive in fast‐paced, high‐acuity environments and are committed to providing safe, patient‐centered obstetric care. Schedule

• Per Diem
• 12‐Hour Shifts Only
  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using continuous fetal monitoring and clinical assessment
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including emergency situations
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and labor‐related treatments per provider orders
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Support patients and families through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Identify and respond rapidly to maternal or fetal complications
• Educate patients and families on labor progression, pain management options, and postpartum expectations
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and unit protocols
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP and ACLS preferred
• Strong fetal monitoring interpretation and maternal assessment skills
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high‐acuity situations
• Compassionate, patient‐advocate approach to care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
