CNC Machinist

Job description:

The primary function for the CNC Machine Production Technician (2nd Shift) is to product as specified by customers' requirements.

Primary Duties:

1) Read and understand work orders, setup sheets, inspection drawings, schedule and process flow

2) Fill-out required paperwork completely, and accurately (WO, inspection, scrap sheets, shift output logs, etc.)

3) Basic operation of CNC mills, lathes, barfeeders, etc. including:

a. Power on/off

b. Load & unload work pieces according to work instructions or setup sheets

4) Inspection of parts according to drawings and instructions

a. Use of inspection equipment (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.)

b. In-process inspections

5) Operation of manual band saws, drill presses, grinders, sanders, etc. including:

a. Power on/off

b. Safe operation

6) Clean, deburr, and verify quality of finished parts

Hours: 3:00pm to 12:00am (2nd shift)

Salary: $19.00 to $23.00
