Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room, Quick Offer
Location: Lafayette, LA
Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Shift: 7:00pm - 7:30am, 3*12, every other weekend required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
- Quickly assessing patient needs.
- Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma.
- Performing minor medical operations.
- Cleaning wounds.
- Drawing blood.
- Maintaining emergency room care standards.
- Assisting with insurance paperwork.
- Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process.
- Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.
Requirements:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS
- LA RN License or compact state license
- 2 Yr of recent experience in an Acute Hospital setting.
