Associate Attorney
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to lead and grow its Estate Planning Practice. This is a leadership opportunity for an attorney with a strong estate planning background who is passionate about client service, practice development, and mentoring legal staff. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling sophisticated estate planning matters while overseeing the delivery of high-quality legal services.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Estate Planning Practice, including workflow optimization and process improvement.
Conduct client consultations and develop customized estate planning strategies.

Draft, review, and oversee estate planning documents, including:
Wills
Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts
Powers of Attorney
Advance Directives
Asset Protection Trusts
Manage the client lifecycle from consultation through execution of estate planning documents.
Supervise and mentor attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
Partner with the firm's marketing team to grow the estate planning practice.
Present educational seminars and estate planning workshops for prospective clients.
Ensure compliance with current estate, tax, and elder law developments.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training legal staff.
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active New Jersey Bar admission required.
New York and/or Pennsylvania Bar admission is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of focused estate planning experience.
Extensive experience drafting sophisticated estate planning documents.
Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
Excellent client relationship and consultation skills.
Leadership experience supervising attorneys or legal support staff preferred.
Business development and practice growth experience preferred.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
Base Salary: $200,000 - $300,000
Performance Bonus: Up to 25% of base salary
