We’re seeking experienced and compassionate Oncology Registered Nurses to support patients receiving cancer treatment in an inpatient oncology or hematology‐oncology setting. If you combine strong clinical skills with empathy and patient advocacy, this role offers meaningful impact every shift.

Schedule

  • Per Diem
  • 12‐Hour Shifts Only
    • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
    • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients undergoing medical or surgical cancer treatment
  • Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor responses to therapies
  • Administer medications, blood products, IV therapies, and supportive treatments per provider orders
  • Monitor for and manage side effects related to cancer treatment
  • Collaborate with oncologists, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, and discharge instructions
  • Provide emotional support and patient advocacy throughout hospitalization
  • Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
  • Support infection control, safety protocols, and quality‐of‐care initiatives
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient oncology, hematology‐oncology, or acute care RN experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Oncology experience strongly preferred (OCN® certification a plus)
  • Strong assessment, critical‐thinking, and clinical prioritization skills
  • Compassionate, patient‐centered approach to care
  • Ability to manage complex patient needs in a fast‐paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
