Overall purpose of job:
- The Distribution Technology Analyst will be responsible for leading system related projects and initiatives with the MedTech Deliver Distribution Network.
- The Distribution Technology Analyst will lead distribution technology projects and team initiatives, supporting the deployment of systems such as WMS, YMS, WCS, TMS, and other distribution systems.
- This individual will drive business case development, feasibility assessments, project planning, system and process design, and milestone tracking.
- This individual will oversee user acceptance testing, facilitate change management for impacted workstreams, and keep leadership informed on project progress.
- This individual will ensure adherence to WMS processes and systems, promoting accountability while implementing system enhancements and fixes.
- The Distribution Technology Analyst will drive system adoption through clear requirements, robust design, and effective implementation, coupled with training and ownership development within business units.
Key responsibilities:
• The Distribution Technology Analyst will be responsible for coordinating with external contractors and driving accountability with all project team members, within their scope of responsibility.
• Responsible for identifying opportunities to drive cost efficiencies and technological improvements within the distribution network.
• Evaluating distribution processes and technology solutions and improvements.
• Perform other assignments and projects assigned by manager.
Required Qualification and Core Competencies for the role:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred subjects include Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations and/or Engineering, IT.
• 3 to 5 years of experience required.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• A track record of process improvements, cost reductions and/or customer service success; results oriented.
• The ability to communicate and interact effectively across internal departments.
• The ability to influence at various organizational levels.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively and be self-directed.
• The ability to lead change efforts
• Comfortable working in an ever-changing matrix environment
• Big picture orientation with attention to detail
• Sense of urgency
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Operations knowledge of warehouse management systems (i.e. MARC, BY), SAP, transportation systems, WCS systems (Exacta, MDCS) or other extending systems (StepLogic) within the Medical Devices business.
• Ability to manage consultants and work teams.
Core Competencies:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Talk, listen, sit, stand, twist, bend, and walk on a repetitive basis on a concrete floor; Repetitively lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (22 kg).
• The employee may also be required to work in a refrigerated environment at 2 to 8 C (35 to 46 F) for 2 hours or more at a time and work in a freezer at -30 to -20 C (-4 to -22 F) for up to 1 hour at a time.

Other Skills Preferred:
• Experience working with validated systems.
• Experience with Process Excellence (Six Sigma and Lean) tools, training, and/or certification.
• APICS Certification and Statistical/ Analytical software.
• Experience working in manufacturing, planning, Supply Chain IT, customer service, transportation, or distribution.
Job location:
- May require up to 20% travel.
