Job Summary
A mission-driven public sector operation in Fort Lauderdale is hiring 25+ Logistics Warehouse Associates to support critical election logistics through the end of August 2026. This temporary full-time opportunity is ideal for dependable candidates who enjoy hands-on warehouse work, shipping and receiving, inventory control, material handling, and fast-paced team environments.
As a Logistics Warehouse Associate, you will help ensure election equipment and supplies are received, organized, staged, distributed, returned, and tracked accurately. This role offers steady full-time hours, immediate starts, and the opportunity to contribute to an important community-focused operation.
You will be part of a structured, team-oriented warehouse environment where accuracy, reliability, confidentiality, and accountability are highly valued. Supportive leadership, clear procedures, and collaborative teamwork help associates stay organized, work safely, and succeed during busy election operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, sort, label, and organize incoming election materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Pick, pack, assemble, and stage election supply kits and equipment packages for delivery to polling locations.
- Assist with inventory counts, shipment verification, chain-of-custody procedures, and accurate recordkeeping.
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment while following safety procedures.
- Inspect, sort, clean, restock, and organize returned equipment and materials after election activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment while supporting setup, breakdown, and logistics needs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Job Type: Temporary full-time contract assignment.
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL.
- Assignment Length: Through the end of August 2026.
- Start Date: Immediate openings, with expected starts next week.
- Schedule: Full-time, with potential overtime, evenings, or weekends during election operations.
- Openings: 25+ positions available.
