Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing essential pharmaceutical care at a retail setting, this per diem role offers a balanced schedule and professional engagement for experienced pharmacists. Situated in Meriden, KS, the position requires a commitment of one weekday per week plus every third Saturday, supporting outpatient pharmacy operations with focused patient care and medication verification.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm (one day per week)
- Every third Saturday, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify prescriptions in a low-volume retail environment
- Provide patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Perform standard outpatient pharmacy duties, maintaining compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas Pharmacist License
- Proven experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
