Per Diem Pharmacist in Chantilly, VA

This opportunity is for a Per Diem Pharmacist serving a nursing home facility with approximately 50 residents. The position provides vacation coverage and operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM on select dates. This role offers the chance to deliver critical pharmaceutical care in a supportive, resident-focused setting.

Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions to ensure accuracy and safety for each resident. You will work closely with a pharmacy technician team of two and utilize the Point Click Care computer system to support medication management and record-keeping.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active and clear Virginia Pharmacist license
• At least one year of recent pharmacy practice experience
• Experience verifying prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity with long-term care settings is a plus
• Comfortable working independently in a nursing home environment

Schedule and Location:

• Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
• Dates needed include 8/5, 8/6, 8/7, 8/10, and 8/11
• Located in Chantilly, Virginia
