School Psychologist in Pecos, NM

This on-site, contract role offers the opportunity to work with students from birth through age 21, split between the vibrant communities of Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification, with experience in academic and psychoeducational assessment
• Proven ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Comfort and sensitivity working with Deaf or Hard of Hearing students and their families
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Willingness to work exclusively onsite between two locations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments
• Consult with teachers, families, and specialists to develop intervention strategies
• Write detailed, timely reports and participate in IEP meetings
• Offer crisis intervention and mental health counseling as needed
• Support a positive school environment and advocate for accessible learning
