Desired Background and Skills:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in school settings, supporting diverse student populations
- Familiarity with evidence-based assessment, counseling, and intervention techniques
- Strong communication and collaborative skills with educators, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and support services for students
- Develop and implement individualized interventions and behavior plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic, social, and emotional needs
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise on student evaluations and supports
- Offer consultation and guidance on strategies to enhance the educational experience for all learners
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and procedural standards
