Special Education Teacher - Warren, Michigan

Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (K-8)
• Experience working with elementary and middle school students with varying disabilities
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to modify instructional methods and materials for diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to small groups and individual students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure compliance and success
• Collaborate with general education teachers and ancillary staff to promote an inclusive classroom environment
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with families and participate in team meetings as needed
• Manage classroom behavior and support students’ social-emotional growth

Additional Details & Benefits:

• Interview availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 am to 1 pm
