Exceptional Children's Teacher
Job Description
We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate Exceptional Children's Teachers to support students in the Lincolnton, NC area. Multiple full-time positions are available for the 2026–2027 school year within a supportive and collaborative school district focused on student success.
Qualifications:
Active North Carolina EC teaching certification
Experience in resource, behavior support, and/or ASD classroom settings preferred
Strong ability to differentiate instruction and implement individualized supports
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Collaborative, flexible approach to working with staff and families
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide direct instruction and academic/behavioral support to students
Implement behavior intervention strategies as needed
Monitor and document student progress in accordance with district requirements
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
Ensure compliance with all state and district special education guidelines
