Special Education Teacher

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Secondary Special Education Teacher for a full-time, school-based position in Easton, MD for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Details:

Full-time
35 hours per week
Start date: August 24, 2026
End date: End of the 2026-2027 school year
Grades 9-12 caseload

Responsibilities:

Provide special education services through co-teaching/inclusion and pull-out support models
Support students with academic and social/emotional/behavioral needs
Provide instruction and intervention in areas including reading and math
Develop and implement IEP goals
Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation

Caseload Details:

Small caseload of fewer than 10 students (approximately 10 maximum)

Qualifications:

Active Maryland Special Education Teaching License (Secondary)
Previous secondary special education experience preferred
Two professional references required prior to interview
