Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility)
  • Prior experience working with elementary-aged students (grades K-4 preferred)
  • Strong background in delivering both push-in and pull-out instructional models
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and monitor IEPs, track student progress, and maintain detailed records
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction in both general education classrooms (push-in) and specialized settings (pull-out)
  • Adapt curriculum materials and teaching techniques to meet students’ learning goals
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, support staff, and families
  • Guide paraprofessionals and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
  • Conduct assessments, gather data, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary
