What we’re seeking:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience with elementary-age students in resource or similar settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom community

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering instruction and adapting curriculum for students with diverse needs
• Implementing and monitoring IEPs, and collaborating in meetings and progress reviews
• Engaging proactively with students, utilizing evidence-based interventions and behavioral strategies
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to a safe, supportive learning space
• Coordinating with parents/caregivers and team members to maximize student success
• Participating in ongoing professional learning and school activities
