Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in FL

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services through teletherapy to students in grades K-12 across multiple schools within the Golden Gate City and Immokalee areas of Florida. This full-time or part-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within diverse school communities.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech therapy services to students using teletherapy platforms.
• Prepare and maintain accurate Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation.
• Participate virtually in IEP meetings to support student progress and collaborate with educational teams.
• Conduct in-person evaluations as required, while virtual evaluations are not part of the role.
• Manage caseloads effectively to ensure individualized attention and compliance with educational standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
• Experience with telespeech and teletherapy modalities.
• Successful completion of previous teletherapy assignments using VocoVision platforms is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with fingerprinting and credentialing processes for Florida educational settings.
• Ability to work up to 35 hours per week, adapting to full-time or part-time schedules as needed.

Location:

• Services will be provided virtually to students within Naples and surrounding regions in Florida, including Golden Gate City and Immokalee.

Additional Information:

• Compliance with Florida fingerprinting and background clearance is required, with potential for utilizing an existing clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse.
• The position begins in August and concludes in May, aligning with the academic calendar.
