Step into a full-time contract opportunity supporting high school students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a maternity leave coverage, spanning August through December. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Connecticut
  • Previous school-based SLP experience or relevant clinical background
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills with students, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full-time caseload of high school students for the duration of the maternity leave
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services, both individual and group, as required
  • Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate professionally with educators, staff, and families for optimal student outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to support a positive school climate
