Qualifications:
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist in Maryland
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, or pediatric healthcare settings preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student needs
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services tailored to each student’s IEP/504 plan
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, targeting fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
- Conduct evaluations, collect data, and document progress in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to promote student participation and access throughout their school day
- Offer training and strategies to staff and caregivers to reinforce skills at school and home
