Special Education Teacher - Redford, MI

This contract opportunity begins at the end of August 2026 and continues through late June 2027, working full-time with a dedicated group of young learners in kindergarten through second grade. Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license with CI (Cognitively Impaired) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) endorsement
• Current certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), or willingness to complete and maintain this certification annually
• Experience teaching or supporting elementary students (grades K–2) with cognitive impairments
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning space

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust educational strategies
