Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early childhood education for the 2026-2027 school year in a collaborative onsite setting near Tacoma, WA. This full-time role spans 12 months and focuses on working with children from birth to 5 years old across three different buildings, nurturing developmental milestones within a diverse student population. You will have the added support of an SLPA and take a leading role in creating and working on both IEPs and IFSPs for approximately 45 students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license with CCC required
  • Previous experience in school or early childhood settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP and IFSP development and implementation
  • Background or knowledge working with Native American populations is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to travel between three onsite locations

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to early childhood students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and an SLPA to design and implement intervention plans
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and maintain detailed student records
  • Participate in eligibility and placement determinations, communicate progress, and provide guidance to stakeholders
  • Engage proactively in cultural and community-oriented initiatives, respecting the unique needs of this student population

This contract offers a consistent 37.5-hour full-time schedule, with the advantage of a 12-month working period.
