Qualifications:

• Active CO Department of Education Teacher license with Special Education Generalist (5-21) endorsement
• Relevant experience in mild/moderate to severe cognitive and behavioral disabilities
• Familiarity with CPI, de-escalation, ABA, Denver model, and behavioral strategies
• Experience working with or leading paraprofessional teams
• Autism and cognitive disability experience prioritized
• Excellent interpersonal skills to fit into supportive, multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a full-time Special Education Teacher at a designated elementary site (one per assignment)
• Plan and deliver differentiated instruction to students with a variety of needs
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and related service providers
• Effectively utilize behavioral intervention strategies and adaptive teaching methods
• Lead small, self-contained or structured classrooms, as appropriate
