As a part-time clinician, you’ll travel between two conveniently located sites just a few minutes apart, offering dynamic experiences across varied age groups.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Illinois SLP licensure and ASHA CCCs (or eligible CFY applicants considered)
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially in educational settings
- Proficiency with school-based speech services, teletherapy, and healthcare documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in pre-K through 8th grade, adapting interventions to meet individual needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, interpret assessment results, and develop individualized goals tailored to each student
- Travel between two school sites (travel time under 5 minutes) as part of the weekly schedule
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, providing input and supporting advocacy for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote strategies for carryover of skills and contribute to student success in the classroom
