Qualifications:

  • Active SLP licensure in California
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Recent experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy environment highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals
  • Dedication to individualized, student-centered care and inclusive practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred by educational staff
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals aligned with student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings, targeting a variety of communication disorders
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress, session notes, and service logs in compliance with school and state standards
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement and advocate for effective accommodations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team collaborations, and ongoing professional development
