Qualifications:
- Active SLP licensure in California
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Recent experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy environment highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals
- Dedication to individualized, student-centered care and inclusive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred by educational staff
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals aligned with student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings, targeting a variety of communication disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, session notes, and service logs in compliance with school and state standards
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement and advocate for effective accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team collaborations, and ongoing professional development
