Make a meaningful impact in education supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social success as a school psychologist. This onsite contract opportunity near West Hartford, CT, involves serving high school and K-8 populations for two different assignments during the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary professionals in a dynamic and positive environment to foster inclusive learning and help all students thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Connecticut School Psychologist license (required)
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations

Role Overview:

  • Deliver psychological services in line with federal and state regulations
  • Complete comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and evaluations
  • Collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 plans, and student interventions
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive learning environments
  • Collect and analyze data to inform interventions and monitor student progress
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Support both Bristol Central High School (August 27, 2026–March 2027) and West Bristol School (October 20, 2026–January 18, 2027); each assignment is 35 hours per week
