Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs considered
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to craft and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and therapy techniques
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct and consultative therapy in both group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain clear documentation of student progress and compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff discussions, and family conferences
