We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated team in a long-term care facility. \nRequired Qualifications:\n
\n
\nAssociate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.\n
\nCurrent state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).\n
\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for working in long-term care settings.\n
\nAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.\n
\n
\nMajor Duties and Responsibilities:\n
\n
\nAssist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans to enhance residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning.\n
\nProvide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and adaptive equipment use.\n
\nDocument residents’ progress and communicate updates to the care team to ensure continuity of care.\n
\nPromote a safe and supportive environment while fostering meaningful relationships with residents.\n
\n
