Senior Tax Accountant

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join their CPA firm. This role focuses on tax preparation, tax planning, and financial services for high-net-worth individuals and their closely held businesses. It also offers a long-term career path with the opportunity to move into a leadership role within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex tax preparation and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses.

• Develop tax strategies to help clients improve their financial position.

• Review the work of staff members and provide guidance and mentoring.

• Work closely with clients, financial advisors, and legal counsel.

• Stay up to date with federal and state tax laws affecting high-net-worth clients.

• Prepare financial reports and tax projections for clients.

• Help grow the firm by building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• CPA certification required (Enrolled Agent certification is also mentioned in the original requirements).

• Minimum 10 years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on high-net-worth tax planning.

• Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws related to wealth management.

• Experience using tax software and financial modeling tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
