LHH is partnered with a local non-profit organization to add an Accounting Manager to their team.

This role is a good fit for somebody who is mission driven, likes to be hands-on in the accounting, an empathetic teacher who cares about developing staff, and somebody who brings a process-improvement mindset.

Role : Accounting Manager

Location : Portland, OR

Work mode : Hybrid (4 days on site/week)

Hours : Typical 40-45 hours/week

Compensation: $100-110K

What you'll do:
  • Ownership of month-end close process
  • Supervise and review work of A/P and payroll team
  • Contribute to technology enhancements for accounting/finance systems and software
  • Develop accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications :
  • 3-6 years of experience, including full accounting cycle and month-end close experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP
  • Nonprofit, government, education industry experience preferred
  • Experience with large ERP systems preferred
  • Flexible, adaptable, self-starter eager to bring forward ideas and solutions

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
