ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher with an Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Credential for the 2026–2027 school year in Milpitas, CA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support students in a collaborative Moderate/Severe classroom while making a meaningful impact on young learners with extensive support needs.

This assignment is for the full 2026–2027 school year and provides the opportunity to work alongside a highly supportive team in a well-equipped classroom designed to promote student growth, independence, and success.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time

  • 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM Direct Student Services

  • Prep time after students leave

  • August 13, 2026 – June 8, 2027

Classroom Setting:

  • 1st–3rd Grade Extensive Support Needs (ESN) / Moderate-Severe Special Day Classroom

  • 4 additional adults providing classroom support

  • Dedicated sensory room available on site

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Education Specialist Credential with Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Authorization required

  • Experience working with Moderate/Severe populations preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

  • Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

  • Ability to create structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environments

  • Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and functional needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and California state standards

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff

  • Implement evidence-based academic, behavioral, and functional interventions

  • Support students' communication, social-emotional, academic, and daily living skills

  • Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

  • Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
