Job Description

Multiple positions are available for certified Special Education Teachers to make a difference in supportive elementary and middle school environments. These assignments offer the chance to work on-site with passionate colleagues and provide individualized support to students in need.
Opportunities include:
- Middle school grades 6-8: Resource SPED teacher & self-contained SPED teacher positions
- Elementary grades K-5: Two full-year self-contained SPED teaching roles, plus a two-month self-contained SPED assignment
Work Monday through Thursday, 7:30am–4:00pm (36 hours/week), giving you every Friday off to enjoy a true work/life balance. These roles are on-site only and offer consistent weekday hours in a collaborative educational setting.
Preferred background and qualifications:
- Active Arizona teaching license with IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in K-8 settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction to meet IEP goals
Role responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging instruction to support academic and behavioral growth
- Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families
- Maintain accurate student records and progress monitoring
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive classroom environment
