Position Overview:
A school district in the Leggett area is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026–2027 school year. These positions offer the opportunity to work with students at the elementary and preschool levels while collaborating with educators, families, and special education teams to support communication development and academic success.

Opening #1:
Elementary School SLP
Grade Levels: Kindergarten–5th Grade
Caseload: Approximately 48 students
Responsibilities:
Provide evaluations, therapy services, and progress monitoring
Support students with a variety of communication needs
Collaborate with teachers and special education staff
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning
Opening #2:
Preschool SLP
Age Group: 3–4-Year-Old Students
Caseload: Approximately 40 students
Preschool-aged population
Itinerant role serving multiple locations
Services provided in both daycare and school settings
Opportunity to support early language and communication development
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and provide speech-language therapy
Collaborate with early childhood educators and families
Develop individualized goals and intervention plans
Maintain documentation and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active North Carolina SLP license or eligibility for licensure
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
AAC experience is a plus for the elementary position
Pay: 45-55 an hour depending on experience + Benefits
