Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Converse, TX

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working part-time with a dedicated elementary student population for the upcoming school year. Working approximately 20 hours per week, you’ll help young learners overcome barriers to communication and achieve their fullest potential.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Prior experience in school-based SLP services, ideally within pediatric and elementary settings
• Strong foundation in pediatric speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering positive partnerships with staff, families, and students
• Adaptability to work as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, or communication needs at an elementary campus
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to ensure students’ success
• Offer support and resources to staff regarding strategies for classroom communication facilitation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
