Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working part-time with a dedicated elementary student population for the upcoming school year. This role calls for a collaborative and compassionate clinician eager to impact the lives of children in a supportive school environment. Working approximately 20 hours per week, you’ll help young learners overcome barriers to communication and achieve their fullest potential.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Prior experience in school-based SLP services, ideally within pediatric and elementary settings
  • Strong foundation in pediatric speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering positive partnerships with staff, families, and students
  • Adaptability to work as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, or communication needs at an elementary campus
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to ensure students’ success
  • Offer support and resources to staff regarding strategies for classroom communication facilitation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
