Take your expertise in behavioral support to an impactful, full-time contract opportunity working onsite with K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position centers on guiding, modeling, and training within autism support programs, empowering both staff and students for success. With a start date of August 24, 2026, and an end date of June 10, 2027, your skills will be crucial in setting the tone for effective teaching and positive student outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania educator certification in Special Education or a related field
  • Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Knowledge and application of evidence-based instructional practices for ASD
  • Prior work in urban school settings
  • Able to complete all required PA clearances
  • Comfortable working on-site, with reliable transportation
  • Experience facilitating staff trainings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Able to work between 7:15AM–4PM as required

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on training to new and returning staff on instructional practices and tailored student behavior plans
  • Demonstrate, model, and coach evidence-based strategies in classrooms
  • Support teams with start-of-year logistics including IEP reviews, scheduling, and assessments
  • Collaborate with consultants to align practices and ensure implementation fidelity
  • Provide refresher trainings, facilitate transfer of best practices between classrooms, and offer actionable feedback
  • Remain accessible to staff and students during critical periods, actively engaging with all stakeholders
  • Participate in all consultations or assign a qualified representative when necessary
